Michael Layden’s principal focus is in helping communities and businesses develop long term survival strategies. He is particularly interested in ventures that can be linked into other sustainable projects. Michaels’ work includes energy audits, reviews of building and energy technologies, local energy management and resource studies. He has spoken widely on these and related subjects, and can offer training in a number of key areas.
Michael is currently developing premises in Arigna, Co. Roscommon for use as a sustainability research establishment. The premises will include residential facilities. Research will cover energy, food production, community development and local economies.
