Finance

We have deliberately chosen not to go down the road of financing the magazine primarily from advertising revenue, in order to avoid compromising our principles of sustainability by promoting products we cannot fully stand over, or which we feel are being marketed in a misleading way.

We do however welcome enquires from the corporate sector in relation to advertising, and can also offer advice on how large organisations might go about reducing their ecological footprint (see policy on advertisements). Our principal source of income, unless we are lucky enough to stumble across a wealthy benefactor, is to sell copy. If you like what we are doing, spread the word! Buy an extra copy to give to a friend or relation. Better still, take out a subscription!

We can supply retail outlets on a sale or return basis at €4.16-4.88 per copy, depending on quantity and whether payment is upfront or by sale and return. The retailer makes €1.62-2.34 per copy sold.
